NF InsulateNF Insulate is used in the manufacturing of lines in the SIII / Freerider, SII / Snowseries and SI / Allsports series. It is solely used as thermo-insulation material for the inner layers of sports trousers. Its technical features make it useful just now for several reasons. This micro-fiber material is designed as an insulation layer for clothing designed for use in extreme climatic conditions.
The combination of the fabric’s high thermo-insulation ratings, minimum volume and low weight can eliminate any effects of adverse weather while protecting the wearer against heat loss, all multiplied by easy maintenance and the material’s durability.
This material is used to manufacture the clothing in the top-line X3M / Extreme series. Technically, it involves a laminated membrane between the clothing’s outer fabric and underlying lining that creates a compact three-layer unit effectively combining unique waterproof and breathability properties which can be utilized in the most extreme conditions with the material’s flexibility, usability and adaptability. It features a 10,000 mm water column and breathability rated at 8000g/m2/24 hours.
